Der neue Starbucks Coffee Shop ist in die bestehende KMCC Mall auf der Ramstein Air Base integriert.
Die besondere Herausforderung des Projekts lag in der Umsetzung innerhalb eines streng kontrollierten militärischen Umfelds mit eingeschränktem Zugang ausschließlich für Militärangehörige und berechtigte Personen. Zusätzlich musste das Projekt sowohl von den deutschen Baubehörden als auch von den kaserneninternen militärischen Genehmigungsstellen geprüft und abgenommen werden. Dies erforderte eine besonders sorgfältige Abstimmung aller sicherheitsrelevanten, technischen und betrieblichen Anforderungen.
Entstanden ist ein robust und funktional durchgeplanter Innenraum, der die Anforderungen eines hochfrequentierten Coffee Shops mit den strengen Sicherheits- und Betriebsstrukturen einer militärischen Einrichtung verbindet.

The new Starbucks coffee shop is integrated into the existing KMCC Mall on Ramstein Air Base.
The key challenge of the project was its implementation within a strictly controlled military environment with access restricted exclusively to military personnel and authorized dependents. In addition, the project had to be reviewed and approved both by German building authorities and by internal military approval bodies on the base. This required careful coordination of all safety-related, technical, and operational requirements.
The result is a robust and functionally optimized interior design that combines the demands of a high-frequency coffee shop with the strict security and operational structures of a military facility.
